The Academy youngsters, AS Monaco employees and professional playing staff played an active part all week long at the No Finish Line event, around the sponsor for this 15th edition, AS Monaco club captain Jérémy Toulalan.
Altogether, AS Monaco raised total of €57,306 by the end of this charity week of sport, notably thanks to the generosity of the company KNM.
A cheque for €57,306 will be officially presented to the organisers of the No Finish Line event at the match against Lens on Tuesday evening at the Stade Louis-II, in the presence of Philippe Verdier (organiser), Mrs Ariane Favaloro (President of the association) and one of the girls -accompanied by her "foster mummy" - currently in Monaco for a vital operation being paid for by No Finish Line. She will also be taking the symbolic kick-off at the start of Ligue 1 matchday 16 at the Stade Louis-II.
A free match ticket for every participant
Some 12,500 participants walked or ran for the cause, covering over 342,000 kilometres and raising €393,672 for the charity "Children and Futur"... And each participant will be offered a ticket to attend this Tuesday's match between AS Monaco and RC Lens*.
Principle of No Finish Line: participants run or walk as many laps as they like of a 1400m circuit, which is open 24 hours a day for eight days. Through entry fees (€12 for adults, €6 for under 10s), donations and sponsors, for every kilometre run, Children & Future donates €1 to support projects to help disadvantaged or sick children.
