Imagine you are sat in a bar on the other side of the world watching AS Monaco on TV, you are in China perhaps, you then notice that all advertisements displayed on the Pitch Side LEDs are in Chinese and tailored to things available to you exclusively in China. This may not seem so incredible until you learn that another person watching the same match, at the same moment but in a completely different part of the world is seeing an entirely different set of advertisements written in their native language and tailored to products and services directly relevant to them and available only in that location in the world.
This may seem a technology of the long distant future, but in fact this is a technology developed by our partner AIM Sport and this is now! To recap, this technology, Digital Overlay®, enables the content on the Pitch Side LEDs to be overlaid digitally to target TV audiences in different countries or regions with tailored content. A vehicle partner with many brands may choose to promote a make and model of vehicle that performs well in France in France whilst at the same time promoting an Italian vehicle in Italy.
