The best four were then picked for the world final of Nike Most Wanted, by a panel including Leonardo Jardim and Nicolas Weber, director of the AS Monaco Academy.
in the next stage of the competition, due to take place from 27 to 29 November 2015 at the English FA's national football centre at St George’s Park, Nassim L'ghoul, Ilyess Jeridi, Guillaume Trani and William Ysborgni will go up against 50 players from all over the world. All will be aiming to impress the scouts and join the Nike Academy, Nike's truly international training centre in England.
Since 2009, the Nike Academy has welcomed 165 players aged between 16 and 20 years old, with 55 of them going on to sign professional forms (three even took part in the 2014 World Cup!). Proof of the Nike Most Wanted scouting programme's power to unearth gems.
As the official kit supplier to AS Monaco since the 2014-2015 season, Nike Football was keen to build a long-term partnership with the club, founded on AS Monaco's "Youth" oriented project that fits perfectly with the brand's core values. So AS Monaco was the natural choice of partner for Nike Football to co-organise the 2015 edition of the French final.
