Back to work, watched by the supporters. Plenty of them came along to La Turbie on Tuesday morning to greet the players, fresh from their victory at Nantes on Sunday (0-1). A win that did wonders for morale.
"We needed that win. It’ll give us confidence going into the next fixtures. We’ll keep working hard in training and try to maintain our momentum", explained Layvin Kurzawa.
Seniors vs youngsters
The players who started the Nantes game were eased back into action gently, with some jogging, stretching and passing games. They spent around an hour out on the pitch.
Everyone else took part in a training game against the Academy youngsters, as a way of staying up to speed. The mini-game was a chance to see Wallace put through his paces for the first time in Monaco colours. The next training session is scheduled for Wednesday morning at La Turbie (10.00).
