"We'll need to be very careful as the playing conditions are unusual. It's been snowing for several hours, and at kick-off the temperature will be below zero. We'll need to adapt quickly and that will be one of the keys to this match. We'll also be playing on a heated synthetic pitch. The ball won't bounce much. We'll need to acclimatise ourselves to all of that.
As for our opponents, FK Molde, tey play a very physical type of Nordic, Anglo-Saxon football. I've watched them in both of the rounds they've played in this competition on the way to the play-offs, against the Irish and Hungarians. They play a direct game with powerful forwards who look to get into advanced positions quickly. They counter at speed after winning the ball back and are dangerous from set pieces. They won the Norwegian league last season and it was no accident. So we need to be wary and draw on our collective abilities to get through and reach the last 16 of the Youth League, as last season. Unfortunately, we haven't had much time together to prepare for this game. We're relying on just two sessions together. Tuesday evening's was intense, and very high quality (see video below).
"We'll need to show great collective determination. We've played this kind of game before, in Rome last year. We'll need to show great solidarity."
