Uwa 'Elderson' Echiejile is now tied to AS Monaco FC until June 2018. The Nigerian international (38 caps), was a member of the Super Eagles side that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and has qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
After signing for SC Braga in 2010, Elderson played for Stade Rennais where he finished his youth training before playing 29 times for the first team including 19 times in Ligue 1. A solid left-back (1.84m), he turns 26 next Monday and will where the No.21 jersey.
