El Tigre is back to his best this season. His performance in Gironde was clear proof, and saw him rise to third place in the Ligue 1 goalscoring chart, one behind Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette (11 goals) and three off PSG's Edinson Cavani (14 goals). A record that's made even more remarkable by the fact that the Colombian international has spent far less time on the pitch than his main rivals (579 minutes compared to 1062 minutes for Cavani).
His hat-trick in Bordeaux also improved his already impressive stats. In Ligue 1 this season, Radamel Falcao now has 10 goals from 18 attempts, that's a lethal conversion rate of 55.6%! In terms of playing time, the Red & Whites' skipper has netted a goal every 58 minutes on average since the start of the season!
In all competitions, with 14 goals in 15 appearances, plus three assists, El Tigre is having an outstanding season so far, despite suffering a thigh strain in August and a head injury in the September derby! Wih 27 goals for AS Monaco, he will soon overtake Thierry Henry (28 goals) in the Red & Whites' all-time goalscoring chart. Grande Tigre!
