Four more goals against OM on Sunday took the Monegasques' strike rate to 3 goals per game in Ligue 1 after 20 matches! That's the best attacking performance in the division by any team for 57 years (RC Paris in 1959-1960)! Those 60 strikes make up 12% of all the goals scored in Ligue 1 since the start of the season!

The figures are impressive, particularly when compared with what's going on elsewhere in Europe. No other team in the Big 5 leagues has been able to match AS Monaco's goal tally in 2016-2017. And only FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have a better strike record at this stage of the season in the last ten years!
Individually, Falcao leads the way with 12 goals and is firmly in the top three scorers in L1. Thomas Lemar has joined Guido Carrillo on 7 goals, while Bernardo Silva with 4 (along with Gabriel Boschilia) is now just behind Fabinho and Valère Germain (both on 5). More generally, there are currently eight Monegasque players among the Top 50 goalscorers in Ligue 1!
