Following his epic travels and nearly 48 hours in the air during the international break (called up by the Brazil U21s for a training camp in Qatar, he then joined up with the senior Brazil squad in the United States - ed.), Fabinho was rested for the last Ligue 1 match against OL. Back on the pitch in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, the full-back remains fully focused on Ligue 1 and Sunday's visit of Guingamp.

Speaking to the media in the build-up to the game, Fabinho talked frankly about the club's start to the season, and his regrets that the level shown by the team in the first few fixtures has so far not reflected their true capabilities. But the Brazilian remains optimistic and hopes to be able to call on the full support of the AS Monaco fans against En Avant.
