After arriving at AS Monaco in July 2013 on a two-year deal, Jérémy Toulalan was given the captain's armband by Leonardo Jardim this season. Now the skipper has signed a two-year contract extension that will tie him to the club until June 2017.
Jérémy Toulalan: "I came here to go as high as possible. We did that the first year by qualifying for the Champions League. This season, we're in the competition and and doing pretty well as we're in the quarter-finals. It's a fine adventure and we have to keep going. I'll be doing my best to help the younger players and perform to the best of my ability."
- Croatian international goalkeeper Danijel Subasic is now tied to the club until 30 June 2019.
Danijel Subasic: "I'm proud. I've been at AS Monaco since the start of this new project, and I've played over 120 games. We've progressed as a club, and I've grown as a player. I want to do even more. I'd like to thank the club management, my teammates, the staff and the fans."
Moroccan international midfielder Nabil Dirar has signed a contract extension up to 30 June 2018.
Nabil Dirar: "I'm very pleased to have signed a contract extension with AS Monaco. It's a nice gesture by the club to have faith in us. Hopefully I can do good things in the future and win trophies. I believed in this project when I came here, and I'm proud to wear the AS Monaco shirt ."
- Italian defender Andrea Raggi has also committed to the club until 30 June 2018.
Andrea Raggi: "I'm delighted. I'm very happy to be continuing my career at AS Monaco. The club is sending out a strong message with all these contract extensions. We're ambitious, I believe the club is going to achieve great things in the future."
