With five goals and two assists to his name already, AS Monaco's Columbian playmaker James Rodriguez is having the tournament of his dreams in Brazil. His stellar showing has not gone unnoticed by Geoffrey Kondogbia: "I wasn't expecting James to have such an exceptional World Cup. But we know all about his talent, he looks to be getting plenty of support from his teammates and seems to feel right at home in the national side. He's enjoying himself hugely. I'm really pleased for him, and given the way he's started the competition, I think he'll finish it even stronger. I'm not surprised to see him at this level. "
Good to be back
After picking up an injury at the end of last season, Geoffrey has taken some well deserved R&R over the holidays. The squad returned to training on Monday (voir la vidéo), and the Monaco midfielderis pleased to be back: "Afterthe first two days back, you feel fine. We've had a long time off so we're looking forward to getting back on the pitch. We've missed it a bit. It's god to see our teammates again too. That's nice. We're easing back into things in good spirits."
