Leonardo Jardim (AS Monaco coach): "Tonight, it was important to get the victory. We played well and won in style. Besides the two goals, we had four or five other great chances to score. Defensively, my players were strong. That was the third game in the space of a week. I don't think Toulouse are too used to it. They were more tired than us".
Jérémy Toulalan (AS Monaco captain): "This year, we've often controlled matches but only for one half. Tonight, as against Lens on Tuesday (2-0), we dominated for the whole 90 minutes. That's good for confidence. When you win and control the game like that, it's easier to play so many games close together. We've got quite a young side, but it's learning fast. We're in good form and have a great chance of doing well through to the end of the year. Me playing in central defence? You'd have to ask the coach."
Valère Germain (Monaco forward): "The win will do us good, ahead of the match with Zenit. It was one of those rare games that we controlled from start to finish. We need to recover now, because even though we only need a point against Zenit, we'll need to play for the win. We're full of confidence and it's the ideal preparation for that big game."
