Home Sweet Home

The Monaco squad are back at La Turbie for the first time since their Copa EuroAmericana tour. Today they got a full training workout, focusing on tactics and fine-tuning their physical fitness.
The AS Monaco squad returned to training at La Turbie, in high spirits and with no injury worries. It was the first time Radamel Falcao and co had been to their home training ground in over a week. The session got under way at 6pm with some running and warm-up exercises.
Valère Germain:"The tour went very well. It was pleasing to see that AS Monaco are so well known abroad. But we didn't forget La Turbie. It's good to be home."
While the outfield players continue with some passing exercises and a training game to round things off, the 'keepers work on their reflexes with a tennis ball, under the supervision of André Amitrano.
With today's training session, the Monaco squad has now entered the final stages of their pre-season preparation.
Valère Germain: "This week, we'll be working on fine-tuning our physical fitness and continuing to work on tactics with the coach: pressing the ball high up the pitch, playing to our strengths, placing the ball, playing between the lines... The last three friendly games will give us a chance to prepare all that."
Don't forget, this Sunday's training session will be open to the public from 9am!
