AS Monaco has fans all over the world. The return to the top division last season, a solid second-place finish in the league behind PSG and some high-profile signings, combined to help the club boost its audiences.
Between July 2013 and May 2014, AS Monaco featured in over 170 hours of television coverage in France, and more than 8060 hours on international channels. In France, AS Monaco was ‘seen’ by a total audience of 39,374, 000. Some 47 of the club’s matches were shown on TV last season, with a peak audience of 2.6 million viewers and an average figure of 1.2 million (in France only).
Audiences for Red & Whites games tend to be distributed fairly evenly worldwide. Europe leads the way with 51% of the audience share (outside France). And while the signings of Falcao and James Rodriguez generated plenty of interest in AS Monaco in the Americas (17%), the club continues to enjoy a strong following in Asia (18%) and Africa (14%).

These figures only cover television broadcasts, and do not include illegal streaming. The print and online press are also in fine health. In France, AS Monaco has been mentioned an impressive 13,748 times, resulting in valuable media exposure.
