His start at AS Monaco
"I've had a good feeling here since day one, whether it's the environment, my teammates… It feels like I've been at AS Monaco a long time. We've made a great start in the league. We've sent out a strong message by beating some big sides, in the Champions League and Ligue 1, against PSG. It's early days in the season. We'll be doing everything we can to pick up points. Ligue 1 is a more physical championship and is more focused on attacking than Serie A. I'm at 90-95% of my physical condition, mentally I feel very good. Jemerson and I are learning to play together with every game."
"I've played in lots of derbies in Italy, at Palermo and then Torino. A derby is always a special game. The supporters expect us to work even harder and that's what we'll do. Aside from the fact that it's a derby, this will be a special match as it's first against second place. The three points will be very important on Wednesday night."
"Balotelli hasn't played much in recent months. He will be out to prove a point. We'll do all we can to contain him. Nice have other talents that will need to be watched closely. I played against him several times when he was at AC Milan. He's got a great shot on him. Our aim will be to stop him from getting into scoring positions."
"I'm a player who gives everything. I like to come off the pitch feeling like I did everything I could. I love to fight for my team on the pitch."
