Radamel Falcao: "I’m very happy to be able to play in Barranquilla, as it’s the city where we play with the Columbian national side. There’s always a good feeling in Barranquilla, you get a great reception and we’ve had some unforgettable times there. I hope people will be able to come to the stadium to support us, and see a good game of football. Miami is another special city, where there are lots of football-loving Columbians and Latin Americas living".
Ricardo Carvalho : "To be honest, this will be my first visit to Columbia. I’ve already been to the USA, but not Columbia. Everyone knows Falcao’s an idol over there. Now, there’s James too. He’s done an unbelievable job for his national team. It’ll be incredible to experience the atmosphere around them both in Columbia. It’s great to see all those people following James and Falcao. In the end they follow AS Monaco too, so that’s positive. I hope lots of people come to cheer us on in Barranquilla and Miami"!
Jérémy Toulalan:"It’s always nice to visit other countries. In terms of pre-season preparation, it’s good to play in a tournament. We’ll go out there to prepare properly for the league. We’ve got Radamel and James. For the Columbians, it’ll be great to see them with their club. Don’t forget we’re in the middle of pre-season preparation, so we might not be at 100%. The teams we’ll be playing are technically good and play a high tempo game. We might find it tough, but it’s good to have a different kind of test from what we’ll get in the league".
