The Portuguese midfielder, who arrived in the Principality from Porto in the summer of 2013, passed the symbolic 100 competitive appearances mark for AS Monaco at the Tofiq-Béhramov stadium.
The 29 year old, who has played for just three clubs in his career, is now a "centurion" for the third time:
- Sporting CP (259 appearances)
- Porto (140 appearances)
- AS Monaco (100 appearances to date)
With the Portuguese national team, the Monegasque number eight will need to wait a little longer to reach the milestone, as he is currently on 81 caps for his country.
