No postponement for AS Monaco - Montpellier

The matchday 25 fixture between AS Monaco and Montpellier, originally called off due to bad weather on 14 February, will be played on Tuesday 7 April, despite the club's request for the match to be postponed. Official club statement.
AS Monaco regrets that its request for the Ligue 1 fixture against Montpellier scheduled for 7 April to be postponed, has gone unheard by the LFP.
French football is delighted with the recent performances of Ligue 1 clubs in European competition and the resulting boost to France's UEFA coefficient.
AS Monaco deplores the lack of support from the LFP in this procedure.
It is particularly disappointing, given that our request was not even honoured with a discussion by the LFP board, with the league having made a unilateral decision not to convene it.
AS Monaco would nonetheless like to thank Montpellier, who had immediately agreed to play the match at a later date in a spirit of fair-play.
The Champions League quarter-final second leg against Juventus will be AS Monaco's sixth match in the space of just 20 days.
However, AS Monaco will make every effort to qualify and fly the flag for the whole of French football.
