After training, Leonardo Jardim's squad joined AS Monaco's Vice-President Vadim Vasilyev and Her Excellency Mrs Evelyne Genta, Monaco's Ambassador in London, at one of the city's many art galleries, the Halcyon Gallery which is currently exhibiting a number of aluminium works by internationally acclaimed sculptor Lorenzo Quinn. A chance to reunite some of the club's present and future partners, along with representatives of Arsenal and Valencia.
Evelyne Genta, Ambassador of Monaco in London
"I'm delighted to welcome you to London at this wonderful venue. I would like to highlight the ambitious strategy of AS Monaco's President, Dmitry Rybolovlev. When he arrived in 2011, the club was at a low ebb. Now AS Monaco are back in Ligue 1 and in the Champions League. He is building a modern, extremely professional club and guiding a hugely exciting project. As a Monégasque, I am very proud to see Monaco regain its verve and its place on the European scene. 'Allez Monaco' and 'Daghe Munegu'."
Vadim Vasilyev - Vice-President of AS Monaco
"It's a great pleasure to return to London. "We are back". It's special, as Monaco are back in Europe this season and we need to work hard to develop the club. Being here in London is once again a special experience for AS Monaco, as we will be reunited with Arsenal and Arsène Wenger, the iconic former AS Monaco coach who's doing an outstanding job at Arsenal."
