In Columbia, contraband fuel is a real problem. On 19 May this year, it cost the lives of thirty-three people, including thirty-two children from a foundation in Magadalena, one of the country's thirty-two departments. Brayan escaped the fire along with eighteen others, but suffered serious burns. After a month in intensive care, he was finally released from hospital. A friend of Falcao's then discovered that Brayan's biggest wish was to meet Columbia's football hero. And on Saturday morning that wish was granted, leaving the brave youngster with memories he will never forget.
