Radamel Falcao was making his third Coupe de France appearance against Ajaccio, and the first since suffering a serious knee injury in the same competition back in January 2014 against Chasselay. As in the first two games (he scored against both Vannes and Chasselay in 2014), he found the net after being set up by a sensational ball from Kylian Mbappé, who collected his sixth assist of the season.
Falcao/Germain = 25 goals
This was the 16th goal in 18 appearances for the Columbian, who has scored in every competition he has been involved in since July (11 goals in Ligue 1, 4 in the Champions League (2 in the group stage, 2 in the preliminary rounds) and 1 in the Coupe de France)! Following in Falcao's wake, Valère Germain once again made a decisive contribution with the winning goal against ACA. It was the fourth time this season that he and Falcao scored in the same game. Valère now has 9 goals in all competitions, and 6 in 11 Coupe de France matches! The pair have accounted for 25 of the 80 goals scored by AS Monaco this season, that's 31%.
