What was the team missing in the defeat to Lorient?
A bit of everything. Defensively, it was very difficult right from the start of the game. We let in two very quick goals. That was a hammer blow, but we managed to score ourselves straight afterwards. In the second half, we really gave everything we had, but it wasn't enough. We conceded the third goal and after that, what with the fatigue, we couldn't come back.
What did the coach say in the dressing room after the game?
The coach was disappointed like everyone. Now we've moved on, to the Montpellier game where we need to pick up three points. We're prepared for anything against them, they've not made a great start to the season. In Ligue 1 there are no small teams. Last year, Montpellier were a side who played good football, they were strong up front.
At the start of the season, you told us you wanted to be "more than just an option for the coach". Did you expect things to move so quickly for you?
Not particularly. When the coach gives me a chance, I do everything I can to take it. Whether I'm starting or coming off the subs' bench. It's going well right now, so let's hope it continues like that. I don't know if I've stepped up another level, but I feel I'm improving. That's not an end in itself - I need to keep working hard in training.
