Tiemoué Bakayoko: "Another step forward for me"

Following his arrival from Stade Rennais in the summer, the young defensive midfielder has been settling in well at AS Monaco. And his progress has been rewarded, with "Baka" making his first start for the French U21s.
You've been handed your first start for the U21s during this international break...
It was something I'd been looking forward to, being picked for the U21s. It's the level just below the senior internationals. It's another step forward for me.
After the international break, AS Monaco have got a busy schedule coming up...
That's a good thing for us players. We always prefer playing competitive matches to training. You have to have both, of course. When the matches are coming thick and fast, it means more playing time for everyone.
We're into the final straight for qualification for the knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League. How do you rate the squad's chances?
We've got every chance. Right now, we're second in the group table. The aim is to stay ahead of our opponents and get through to the round of 16.
