With some players still away on international duty, the rest of the squad came in for training on Monday, where the fog was a surprise guest.
To bump up the numbers, Leonardo Jardim invited several Academy youngsters to join the squad, while Bernardo Silva was back from international duty. Layvin Lurzawa, who had returned early from the French U21s, stayed on the treatment table, although the player is optimistic about his fitness.
The afternoon's training kicked off with a long warm-up led by Carlo Spignoli, followed by passing exercises and small-sided games to round off the session. The ever-dedicated Valère Germain and Lucas Ocampos stayed behind to practise their shooting. Next training is on Tuesday morning.
