Vadim Vasilyev, Vice-President of AS Monaco: "I'm disappointed with the result, but very proud of the players and the coach. We showed we didn't get here by luck. We deserve to be in this quarter-final. We played a great match against a great side, and that makes me proud. It's true that tonight, the decisions didn't go our way. But that's football. In the modern game, things move so fast that sometimes that can happen. I just think anything's possible in the second leg. We didn't deserve to lose tonight, but we'll give it everything we've got at the Louis-II. I'm hopeful."
L.Jardim: "We weren't able to finish off our chances, especially at the start of the game. We weren't clinical enough." #JUVASM— AS MONACO (@AS_Monaco) 14 April 2015
Danijel Subasic: "We played well. It's a shame we couldn't score. I don't like talking about the referee too much, but I think that's what made the difference in this game. But anything's possible in the return leg. Tonight, we might have done better, might even have won. We weren't clinical enough. At home, it will be tough to turn things around, but we'll be looking for a big performance."
Yannick F.Carrasco: "It was a creditable performance from us, despite the defeat. They scored from a penalty. We've seen the replays and the foul was outside the area... We could have had a penalty too in the second half. That said, I'm disappointed at missing that chance early on. It could have changed things. Things are still possible in the second leg, even though the Italians defend very well. They switch to five at the back if they need to defend, it'll be hard. It's up to us to put away our chances when they come."
