The Globe Soccer Awards were created in 2010 to celebrate those with an active involvement in the worldof football. From players and match officials to agents, fans and executives.
At this year’s ceremony, overseen by President of UEFA Michel Platini,Vadim Vasilyev was presented with an award in recognition of all the work he has done for AS Monaco.
Receiving his special award from Patrick Kluivert, the legendary striker who played for clubs including FC Barcelona, the Vice-President and CEO of AS Monaco was formally presented with a trophy. A fine reward for the whole club.

"I am very proud of this award, which shows that AS Monaco are back, and once again recognised in Europe. I’d like to thank the whole team, the sporting and administrative staff at AS Monaco for their hard work and especially President Rybolovlev for giving me this unbelievable opportunity to oversee the Club’s day to day management in these important and exciting times."
The ceremony also saw awards presented to some of the world’s greatest players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, named Player of the Year, and former Monegasque James Rodriguez, named Best Revelation Player of the Year.
