A fourth MVP for Wissam Ben Yedder

A fourth MVP for Wissam Ben Yedder
Wissam Ben Yedder was voted MVP of the match against Toulouse on the AS Monaco App. This is the fourth time this season that the French international striker has received this award.

With a goal and an assist to his credit, Wissam Ben Yedder made his return to the Toulouse Stadium and, above all, allowed AS Monaco to come away with a precious three points. Finding the net in the early stages with a penalty, “WBY” scored his tenth goal of the season. It allowed him to reclaim his position as the top scorer in Ligue 1, but it also proved his consisitency over time as pointed out by the statistical firm Opta.

As might be expected, with 60.5% of the vote, it was by quite a wide margin that Wissam Ben Yedder won this 16th MVP vote of the season. Behind him, Aleksandr Golovin and Gelson Martins each received 11.5%, while Benjamin Lecomte remained just off the podium with 7% of the vote in his favor.
