It’s a more than deserved reward. Author of an impressive November, you voted Aleksandr Golovin MVP for November, with 46% of the vote. He finished ahead of Wissam Ben Yedder and Kevin Volland.
Already in October, our number 17 had impressed the fans at the Stade Louis-II, particularly during the match against Angers SCO, where his sublime shot into the top corner allowed the Rouge et Blanc to definitively seal their victory (2-0). Moreover, the Russian was also MVP of the match for the second time of the season (after Reims), playing his his 150th match in the colors of AS Monaco.
November’s X factor!
And the least we can say is that Golo continued his momentum in November. Against Toulouse, he broked the game open as soon as he returned from the locker room. Found at the left corner of the area, he curled the ball into the top corner past a helpless Maxime Dupé. He had scored virtually the same goal against Angers a week earlier, before Breel Embolo completed AS Monaco’s win in Toulouse (0-2 was the final score).
