AS Monaco eSports launches on Rocket League
A mix of mechanical sport and football, Rocket League is one of the flagship games of the eSports scene. Rocket League plunges players into an arena with the objective being scoring goals in the opposing camp by using of cars. Very spectacular, this video game is played at the professional level by teams of three. Like traditional football, the tactical dimension has a major impact.
Aged 18-25, Ekon, Porto and Yukiss form a 100 percent French team, already confirmed and full of ambitions for the coming season. For Captain Ekon, “it is a pride and an honor to represent a great club like AS Monaco. The whole team is eager to prove its qualities very quickly and to achieve the objectives set.”

This announcement also reinforces our position as a pioneering club in eSports.”
August is already busy for our three new players. The team will participate in the EU Open Qualifier 3 (August 22nd) and the EU Open Qualifier 4 (August 26th) to try to qualify for the EU Rival Series Play-In (September 2nd) which will allow the four best teams to join the Rocket League Rival Series (RLRS), equivalent of the European Division 2, which will start on 9 September.
As practice, the team will participate regularly in Gfinity Challenger Series tournaments that run from Monday to Thursday from August to September. With the recruitment of this new team, AS Monaco eSports continues its expansion by embarking on a fourth game after PES 2018, NBA 2K and GT Sport. New season, new ambitions!
