First half

The first opportunity for Les Monegasques came when Rony Lopes sent a cross into the box for Lyle Foster who tried a shot, but Portuguese goalkeeper Matheus came up with the save. Later in the half, Benjamin Lecomte was forced to make a double-save on a corner. Foster, once again, received a Rony Lopes cross, but his header missed slightly off the frame. Shortly before half-time, Benjamin Lecomte saved another shot by deflecting the Portuguese free-kick, which hit the left post. Both teams returned to the locker room on the score of 0-0.

Second half

The Russian midfielder found Benjamin Henrichs, who strikes, forcing the Portuguese goalkeeper to push the shot back for a corner.
