Biography

A native of Bradford, England, Patrick Kwame Ampadu grew up in Ireland, his mom's country, where he played for the U20 team. Spotted at the age of 18 by Arsenal, the midfielder then had a busy career, including time at West Bromwich Albion and Swansea. After 473 professional matches, he became a coach in 2008 at Exeter, one of his former clubs, then returned to Arsenal in 2012, in the youth category and then as the head of the U18. In October 2018, Patrick Kwame Ampadu joined AS Monaco as Thierry Henry's assistant.
