Press release: AS Monaco-AS Saint-Étienne postponed

AS Monaco has taken note of the decision of the LFP's Board of Directors concerning the immediate suspension of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2.

Yesterday evening, the President of the French Republic spoke about the health crisis linked to Covid-19. The LFP Board of Directors met this Friday, March 13 in the morning to make a clear decision in response to this situation. Thus, the immediate suspension of the Ligue 1 Conforama and Domino’s Ligue 2 championships has been declared, until further notice.

Consequently, AS Monaco has decided to cancel all of the first team’s training sessions until Wednesday, March 18.

Following the President’s speech, the French Football Federation has also announced the immediate cessation of competition. The Coupe Gambardella quarterfinal of our U18s in Dijon this weekend is therefore suspended, as are all the matches of the AS Monaco Academy sides (U17, N2).
