Many Monegasques were still on deck this Tuesday before a well-deserved rest. With the Centenary season now over for more than three weeks, several AS Monaco players have not slowed down on international duty, starting with Mika Biereth.

If the Danish striker who arrived in January did not wait long to prove himself decisive in the Principality, scoring 13 goals in 14 Ligue 1 matches – a record in the 21st century, he was still looking for his first goal for the Danish national team. And now he’s done it!
The Monaco serial goalscorer was the first to score, with a header in the 12th minute, following a fine pass from Marseille midfielder Højbjerg, in a resounding 5-0 friendly victory over Lithuania.

He had already stood out against Mexico, and he repeated his performance against the United States! Breel Embolo thus ended his time with the national team in the best possible way by participating in the Nati‘s offensive recital in Nashville (0-4), being on the lookout after a shot poorly cleared by the goalkeeper. It was a second goal in as many matches for him and a clean sweep for Murat Yakin’s players one year before the 2026 World Cup.

Senegal make history👏
They finally had a prestigious match against England before facing Sudan and the DRC to secure qualification. On a run of 21 matches without defeat, Senegal achieved a massive feat to become the first African nation in history to win against the Three Lions. It was a win in which Lamine Camara, who started alongside Krépin Diatta, provided an assist on the third Senegalese goal (1-3).
