Benjamin Lecomte is loaned to Espanyol
AS Monaco announces a one-season loan deal for Benjamin Lecomte, 31, to La Liga side Espanyol.
Coming to the Principality in 2019, the goalkeeper, a product of the Niort academy, has worn the Rouge et Blanc jersey 60 times in all competitions, including 56 in Ligue 1 Uber Eats.
A second spell in La Liga
Before joining AS Monaco, Benjamin Lecomte played for FC Lorient (2010-2014, then 2014-2017), Dijon FCO (2013-2014) and Montpellier HSC (2017-2019). In the colors of the Catalan club, who finished 14th in 2021-2022, he will continue his experience in La Liga, after a one-year loan last season at Atlético Madrid.
