Benjamin Lecomte joins Montpellier HSC
AS Monaco announces the transfer of Benjamin Lecomte, their 31-year-old French goalkeeper, to Montpellier Hérault, currently 15th in Ligue 1 Uber Eats.
Benjamin Lecomte has been on loan with Espanyol, playing in La Liga Santander, since last summer. The native of Paris has played 10 official matches with the Catalan club.
60 matches in Rouge et Blanc
The goalkeeper is preparing to return to MHSC, having worn Montpellier’s colors 79 times between 2017 and 2019. He arrived in the Principality in 2019, and the goalkeeper trained in Niort played 60 matches in Rouge et Blanc in all competitions, including 56 times in Ligue 1 Uber Eats. He had been loaned previously during the 2021-2022 season to Atlético Madrid.
