Happy 40th, Éric Abidal!
Eric Abidal celebrated his 40th birthday on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.
The entire red and white family wishes a happy birthday to “Abi”, who now occupies the position of Sporting Director at FC Barcelona.
Éric Abidal made his pro debut in 2000 wearing the Monaco jersey, before eventually joining LOSC, OL and FC Barcelona. Over the course of an exceptional career, the left-footed defender won three French championship titles (2005, 2006, 2007), four Spanish championship titles (2009, 2010, 2011, 2013) and raised the Champions League trophy twice (2009, 2011). Also a finalist of the 2016 World Cup, he wore the French jersey 67 times.
