100 dates that defined the decade (7)
Relive the "2010s" of AS Monaco through 100 dates that have defined our club over the last ten years. Part 7.
October 1, 2016 – By winning 7-0 in Metz, AS Monaco records the biggest away victory in its history in Ligue 1. The Red and Whites would win ten league games by more than four goals during this season !
November 22, 2016 – As in the first matchday, AS Monaco won 2-1 against Tottenham and qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League by finishing  at the top of their group again.
January 15, 2017 – For the first match of the second half of the Ligue 1 season, AS Monaco won 4-1 in Marseille after having won 4-0 in the reverse fixture! 2017 started very strong!
January 29, 2017 – A goal from Bernardo Silva at the very end of the game allows AS Monaco to clinch a precious draw against PSG at the Parc des Princes. The Red and Whites would keep a slight lead over their Parisian rivals until the end of the season.
Februrary 21, 2017 – AS Monaco lost 5-3 at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester City in a crazy game. Kylian Mbappé celebrated his first European start with a goal, while Radamel Falcao also scored a memorable goal by lobbing Caballero with a sumptuous chip.
March 15, 2017- AS Monaco beat Manchester City at Stade Louis-II. The Reds and Whites won 3-1 and qualified for the quarterfinals with goals scored by Kylian Mbappé, Fabinho and Tiemoué Bakayoko.
April 1, 2017 – Caught in the whirlwind of a heavy fixture list and deprived of Falcao and Fabinho, the Red and Whites lost in the final of the Coupe de la Ligue against PSG in Lyon.
April 11, 2017 – When the bus of Borussia Dortmund is the victim of an attack on the way to Signal Iduna Park, where the quarterfinal of the Champions League is to take place, the match is postponed until the next day. A huge show of solidarity between German and Monegasque supporters would allow the latter to spend the night in Dortmund.
April 12, 2017 – AS Monaco won 3-2 in Dortmund, where Kylian Mbappé scored twice in front of more than 65,000 German supporters and an equally full away end! The Red and Whites would take a lead before the return leg which would take place a week later at the Stade Louis-II.
April 19, 2017- By winning 3-1 at Stade Louis-II against Borussia thanks to goals from Mbappé, Falcao and Germain, AS Monaco qualified for the semi-finals of the Champions League, thirteen years after their last appearance in the last four.
