The 100th for El Tigre
On May 31, 2013, Radamel Falcao was packing his bags. Revealed to the eyes of Europe between 2009 and 2011 at FC Porto, the Colombian striker was now the captain of AS Monaco. This Saturday, Falcao is expected to play his 100th encounter in Ligue 1 against Bordeaux (J28,20h00). It was against these same Girondins he had opened his goal account, one evening in August 2013.
Considered a very professional player, the Colombian is a reference at his position. In a press conference, two days before the reception of Bordeaux, the coach wanted to underline it:
In the 2016-17 season, he has 21 league goals and is making a big contribution to the Red and White league title.
The following season, he achieved a performance never seen for forty years in the French championship. Indeed, Falcao is the author of 11 goals on 12 shots in just 6 days of Ligue 1. So during this 28th day of the championship, he should pass the 100 matches in L1 Conforama. In this same competition, he has already scored 61 goals. This season, he counts 11 goals for 21 starts. Congratulations and thank you El Tigre!
