A. Raggi : "Now it's serious"
The heart of the Monaco defense is in his seventh season with the red and white. More experienced than ever, he encourages the youngest players to follow his example.

ANDREA, HOW DO YOU FEEL A WEEK AFTER THE RECOVERY?

Everything is going very well but fatigue is starting to come (laughs). It’s normal as we just started our preparation. We have two friendlies this weekend. We will see how that will go. I am 34 years old but I feel very good.

YOU LEAVE THIS FRIDAY IN POLAND FOR THE FIRST PRE-SEASON MATCH. WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES ?

The goal is to continue our preparation, to work well with all the players. There are a lot of young people in the squad so it’s important. The coach is there to see who will be ready to help us now or not. We must be ready in early August for the Champions Trophy against PSG and the start of the league.

WHAT SHOULD YOU PAY ATTENTION TO DURING THE PREPARATION PERIOD?

Food, sleep. We must be professional. To be on top there is no secret. You have to be serious.

THREE OF YOUR TEAMMATES WILL PLAY IN A WORLD CUP QUARTER-FINAL. DO YOU HAVE A MESSAGE FOR THEM?

I say good luck to them and let the best team win! Suba was huge in the quarter-finals. I said that if Croatia went far in this World Cup it would be thanks to Suba ‘.

Rise. Risk. Repeat.
