Relive the "2010s" of AS Monaco with 100 dates that have defined our club over the last ten years. Part 5.
August 4, 2015 – Victorious against Young Boys 4-0, after a first leg victory in Bern (1-3), the Red and Whites and Stephan El Shaarawy easily qualified for the Champions League play-offs.
August 25, 2015 – Beaten 3-1 in the first leg, AS Monaco won 2-1 in the return against Valencia in the Champions League play-offs. It was, however, an insufficient victory that lead AS Monaco to the Europa League.
August 31, 2015 – After breaking through at the highest level with AS Monaco, Anthony Martial is transferred to Manchester United and becomes the second most expensive transfer carried out by AS Monaco.
September 17, 2015 – AS Monaco are back in Europa League action away to Anderlech in a 1-1 draw.
December 2, 2015 – Kylian Mbappé plays his very first professional match coming on against SM Caen.
December 10, 2015 – With a very rotated squad, AS Monaco lose 3-0 at White Hart Lane against Tottenham in the last match in the Europa League group stage. The Red and Whites would take their revenge a year later.
February 20, 2016 – Facing ESTAC Troyes at Stade Louis-II, Kylian Mbappé scores his first professional goal, the beginning of a very long series.
March 20, 2016 – AS Monaco wins against PSG at the Parc des Princes. Vagner Love and Fabinho, author of a sumptuous “Panenka”, are the goalscorers in this prestigious victory.
May 14, 2016 – AS Monaco finish third in Ligue 1 after a tough battle with OL and OM. The Red and Whites will have to go through the 3rd preliminary round of the Champions League. Here, Ricardo Carvalho and Guido Carrillo celebrate with the fans.
May 21, 2016 –Led by their offensive duo, Mbappé and Cardona, the AS Monaco U19s, coached by Frédéric Barilaro, won the Gambardella Cup at the Stade de France after a final victory against RC Lens.
