Ballo-Touré and Les Espoirs enter the Euro U21 tournament

Les Espoirs begin their Euro U21 tournament this Tuesday; they face a tough opponent in their first match in England.

The France under-21 team have not participated in the UEFA Euro U21 tournament since 2006. Guided by Sylvain Ripoll, Les Espoirs were nearly perfect in qualifiers (9 wins, 1 draw).

This Tuesday, they will have to prove their current form against England, who finished at the top of group 4 in qualifying.

Les Espoirs are in Group C with England, and will also face Croatia and Romania.

In Group B, Benjamin Henrichs and Germany U21 have already defeated Denmark (3-1). The Germans take the lead in their group. The AS Monaco man has been used on the left side of the defense for the Germans.
