AS Monaco announce the end of the collaboration with Leonardo Jardim and the arrival of Robert Moreno as new head coach.

The 42-year-old Spanish coach has signed up for two and a half seasons, until June 2022. He will take up his duties early next week.

Formerly head coach of the Spanish national team, Robert Moreno led the “Roja” six times, qualifying the team for Euro 2020.

He has won the 2015 Champions League, two Spanish championships, three Spanish Cups, one Spanish Supercup and one Club World Cup with FC Barcelona (2014-2017), alongside Luis Enrique, whom he also assisted at AS Roma (2011-12) and Celta Vigo (2013-14).

We are very pleased to announce the arrival of Robert Moreno. We have great faith in him and his ability to bring the team success. We welcome him to AS Monaco.
On behalf of President Dmitry Rybolovlev, I would also like to thank Leonardo Jardim for all his work and success in recent years.
Leonardo and his staff did their utmost to keep the club in Ligue 1 last season and then bring the team back to the place it deserves in our championship. We wish him good luck for the future.
