Keita Baldé, a man for the Coupe de France

Keita Baldé, a man for the Coupe de France
AS Monaco qualified for the Round of 16 by beating St-Pryvé / St-Hilaire 3-1. You have voted Keita Baldé as the MVP of this meeting on the AS Monaco App.

Scorer once more of a decisive double in the Coupe de France, Keita Baldé was honored by red and white fans on the AS Monaco App. Already the MVP of the Round of 64 fixture against Stade  de Reims at Louis-II, Keita Baldé collected 74% of the votes for this Round of 32 match to beat the evening’s captain, Stevan Jovetic (10%) and Aleksandr Golovin (6%), another regular on the MVP podium.

With now 4 goals to his credit in the Coupe de France, the Senegalese international is three behind Carnejy Antoine, the Saint-Pryvé / Saint-Hilaire scorer, who is on seven goals and is the current top scorer in the competition, but will have no more opportunity to increase his total this season. “The double man” will try to follow this up next Tuesday with the visit of Saint-Etienne in the Round of 16 at the Stade Louis-II (28/01 at 20h55).

In the meantime, it is from the stands that he will watch the league match against Strasbourg, after receiving a one-match ban for having accumulated three bookings in less than ten matches. The Senegal international will therefore be fresh to continue his good run in the Coupe de France against Les Verts.

Keita Baldé went to celebrate with the three hundred supporters of the Red and White who made the trip to the Stade de la Cource in Orleans after the match.
