Kevin Volland is the first MVP of 2022!
Scorer of a double against Quevilly-Rouen on Sunday in the Coupe de France (3-1), the German striker was elected MVP by you, the fans of the Red and White on the AS Monaco App.

Kevin Volland has started the year off strong! The AS Monaco number 31 is the our first MVP of the year, as voted on by you, the Monegasque supporters on the AS Monaco App, thanks to a very good performance away to Quevilly-Rouen, this Sunday in the round of 32 of the Coupe de France (3-1). He earned 78% of the vote, ahead of his captain and attacking partner Wissam Ben Yedder (19%).

I want to congratulate the team, both the younger and the more experienced players, for the character they displayed, with leaders like Wissam, Kevin and Ruben.

In his 69th match in the diagonale, the German striker scored his 27th and 28th goals. The first on a perfectly controlled ball, after a pass from Wissam Ben Yedder (37′), then an unstoppable strike from the left at the edge of the penalty area to seal the result with the match’s final goal (58′). It was a great performance, which augurs well for a superb 2022! Bravo Kevin!
