AS Monaco is pleased to announce the signing of 21 year old Krépin Diatta from Club Bruges on a five year contract.

The Principality club and the current Belgian champion have reached an agreement for the transfer of the young Senegalese international winger, who has signed with AS Monaco through June 2025. Able to play on the entire right flank and also as a left winger, Krépin Diatta (1.75m) joins Ligue 1 after having played one season in the Norwegian elite, with Sarpsborg 08 (2017), then three years in the Jupiler Pro League.

100 professional games already

At just 21 years of age, the Dakar native has already played more than a hundred professional matches, scoring 28 goals and making 19 assists. A finalist in the Norwegian Cup, Krépin Diatta has since won two league titles and a Belgian Super Cup, and played 18 European matches, including 15 in the Champions League.

Already capped 16 times for the Senegalese national team, the new Monegasque player played in all of his country’s matches at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, which saw the Lions of Teranga reach the final of the competition, at the end of which Krépin Diatta was elected best young player of the tournament.
