Leonardo Jardim : "Competition is beneficial"

Leonardo Jardim : "Competition is beneficial"
Leonardo Jardim spoke to the press ahead of the trip to Montpellier for Matchday 9 in Ligue 1 Conforama.
Of course working after victories is always better. I have already referenced the subject; there are more smiles and confidence but the work remains the same.
Leonardo JardimManager of AS Monaco
I did not doubt the potential of the team in pre-season. We changed a lot of players in the squad and now we have several options. The team has been working together for a month.
Leonardo Jardim
I started my coaching career with a 3-5-2. I know this system well, to close the spaces and reassure the players. This is useful, especially in more difficult contexts. We have the squad to play this way. The goal is for the team to be as efficient as possible.
Leonardo Jardim

When Baka arrived, he was young with a lot of potential. He has progressed here at AS Monaco. He matured and he came back as a man. He has more responsibilities, he is more focused. Tiemoué has progressed, and become a leader.
Leonardo Jardim
Ben Yedder and Slimani get along well, they are friends and they share the same culture. They are different and complementary players. Everyone plays to their strengths and qualities.
Leonardo Jardim
I think there is competition in all positions. But it's honest and healthy competition; everyone knows you have to work. Against Rennes, Fodé and Gelson are suspended so we must always have options. For me, the competition is beneficial, the players give more in training and the motivation is greater. Everyone wants to play -- it's normal.
Leonardo Jardim
Rise. Risk. Repeat.
