Ruben Aguilar : "Straighten things out”

Ruben Aguilar : "Straighten things out”
Determined as usual, Ruben Aguilar answered questions from the media during the pre-match press briefing. The right back hopes to raise the bar this Tuesday night against Saint-Etienne.
Scoring goals we know very well how to do, but if we do not concede, it is much better. We try to work on this even if we don't have a lot of time with the way that the games are scheduled. But we are working on it, especially with video. It is a collective approach above all. When we see videos we see that it is collective, that it is sometimes difficult to get back in place. Defending well goes from the attackers to the defenders, even if it is they who are blamed when the team concedes goals.
When playing I like to start the match by winning my initial duels and then bringing things along offensively. Above all, you have to defend well, it's important.
The defeat against Strasbourg hurt us but we will try to straighten things out tomorrow and then win as many league games as possible.

You have to be motivated in each match and have a fighting spirit all the time, against Paris, against Strasbourg or any other team. You have to win and take points if you want to qualify for a European position.
Football is a sport of eternal renewal. We started the year against Reims I was suspended, and the team won here ... Now when they pick me I give my best, the same when I am a substitute and when I start, I will do the same tomorrow if I have the chance to start.
My whole career has been one of mental strength. Since the start of the season it has not been easy because I have had bookings, suspensions ... Each time though, you have to come back; I will not give up.

We still have to pass several barriers until reaching the final, but I think we have a card to play, we will try to pass this stage and then we will see where the cup takes us.
One just has to look at his career to see the talent of "Jove", technically he brings a lot to the table, he is a great player. He works hard, he is hungry and wants to prove his worth, this can only be beneficial for us.
We want to show what we are worth, that we are better than our place. The coach also has a lot of ambition; everything is in place for us to get there. We all know what we want, trying to finish in a European place.

Rise. Risk. Repeat.
