Vanderson: "Put in the same level as against Marseille"
He has already shown plenty in his two months in the Principality! After scoring in Ligue 1 against Montpellier, in his third appearance with AS Monaco, Vanderson recently offered himself a double of assists in the Coupe de France against Nantes. He was again the author of a solid performance this Sunday against OM in a 1-0 win, the young Brazilian fullback (20 years old) has integrated perfectly into Philippe Clement’s collective. His arrival at AS Monaco
I must say that my adaptation is going well, because I was very well received by the group. The fact that several players speak Portuguese at AS Monaco also facilitated my integration into the squad. They support me a lot. Little by little I am trying to develop myself and show my qualities, and the fact that there are Portuguese speakers here helps me a lot.

Room for improvement
I am a growing young player, and I work hard to improve every day. I’m here to learn, and besides, I’m lucky to be trained by a coach who brings me a lot. But, I think I have room for improvement defensively. But I’m doing everything to improve myself in this area, and I’m sure I’ll reach the level I want.
On Braga
We have studied this Braga side and know their strengths very well. They are in a good position in the Portuguese league and it is a club that is used to European matches. It will certainly be a challenging match, but I think if we show the same level as against Olympique de Marseille in Ligue 1-0, we can have a good result here.
His first match in the Europa League
It is true that this will be a first for me in the competition and in Europe. This is a personal goal that I wanted to achieve. Monaco is a great club, which always wants to win, so we obviously want to go as far as possible in the Europa League. Everything is new to me, as it’s only been a short time since I arrived on this continent. We will do everything we can to win.
