Him again. Sparkling this Sunday evening on the pitch at the Parc des Princes, Wissam Ben Yedder obtained his first MVP of 2020.

It’s the seventh time that current top scorer in Ligue 1 Conforama (14 goals) has been voted match MVP by AS Monaco App users after the Red and Whites have played. Wissam Ben Yedder (58%), author of an incredible performance, finished ahead of Gelson Martins (14%), scorer in the 7th minute and decisive in the build-up to the 3rd goal, and Benjamin Lecomte (8%), who already had won this award five times this season .

The striker started his 2020 goal tally. After a weekend devoted to the Coupe de France, the French international returns to the competition which has been his bread and butter: Ligue 1 Conforama. In scoring his 14th goal in 17 appearances this season, our number 9 allowed the Red and Whites to go ahead against PSG in the 13th minute. Will this new year bring another record? Wissam Ben Yedder is approaching his personal record for total goals in Ligue 1 – 17 in the 2015-2016 season – and moved an additional goal ahead of Kyllian Mbappe (11 goals), currently runner-up in the scorers’ table.
