A friendly against Southampton on 27 July

AS Monaco have a new warm-up match on their schedule. With one week to go before their official start in the third qualifying round of the Champions League, Philippe Clement and his men will play a friendly against Southampton on Wednesday 27 July at St Mary’s Stadium (20:45, French time).

A good memory for Takumi Minamino

This match will bring back memories for Takumi Minamino, the latest Monegasque recruit, who wore the Saints shirt during the second half of the 2020-2021 season. The Monegasques will have played several matches during this preseason. They have played Cercle Bruges (1-0), Saint-Gall (1-1), Austria Vienna (2-2) and will play Portimonense SC (Saturday 9 at 6pm) and Inter Milan (Saturday 16 at 8.30pm).
